Weber 6432 Silicone Basting Brush

October 22, 2008

Weber Style, Silicone Brush With Stainless Steel Handle, Designed To Rest Perfectly On Clear Measuring Cup, Keeps The Sauce Where It Should Be, In The Cup, Dishwasher Safe

Customer Review: Fantastic

I’d had it with cheapo nylon bristle brushes that were impossible to clean and melted in the heat. These brushes are fabulous: beautiful, functional, and easy to clean.
Customer Review: GREAT BBQ BASTER!

This Weber baster is very heavy duty and high quality. It looks nice and feels like it will last a long time. I have used it about 10 times so far and it spreads nicely. It is exactly what I was looking for, a great product.
BTU is the measure of the amount of cooking power the barbeque grill has. Simple math will be needed in determining the amount of heat that your grill produces. Take the amount of space available for cooking (typically measured by square inch) and divide it by the total amount of BTU’s. Ideally you will want at least 95 to 100 BTU’s per square inch of cooking space. So for example, if you have a grill with 50,000 BTU’s and 450 square inches of cooking space, then you will be receiving about 111 BTU’s of cooking power per square inch. Anything less, and you may want to consider a different grill.
Cooking on the grill is also a great way to get the kids involved in the meal preparation and clean up process. We like to use disposable plates when grill cooking and keep the dining al fresco. If you are hoping for instant family unity over the picnic table you might want to think again but there isn’t anything quite like it when it comes to not worrying about spills or dropped food as you can rest fairly certain that the animals will take care of anything that gets left behind.

Weber 1647 18-Inch Grill Brush

October 21, 2008

Cleaning your grill is essential because anything left on the grate will cause uneven heat when you cook. But when you’ve finished grilling some savory steaks, burgers, chickens, and veggies, the last thing you want to do is clean up the mess. With Weber’s grill brush/scraper, it’s really not so bad. This 18-inch brush/scraper has hardwood handles and brass bristles, so you won’t be left with rusty residue or stubborn leftover grime. When you’re finished, hang the tool by its leather strap until your next outdoor feast. –Rhonda Langdon

Customer Review: BADDDDDDDDDD

I ordered a BRASS Grill brush & got this stainless steel brush. I have porcelin grates. I need BRASS!!!!!!!!!

Customer Review: BE CAREFUL!

Weber grill brushes are great. Their brass bristles are softer than stainless steel and do not scratch. BUT, make sure you are buying the “original” Weber brush. I ordered this from ANTonline, but they pulled a bait-and-switch; shipping an inferior substitution to me, and I’m having trouble getting a 100% refund that includes shipping cost. Buyer beware! Only buy from a known, reputable retailer! And, only buy authentic Weber brushes.

Another feature some grills offer the ability to control different areas of your grill with different temperatures. This is typically controlled by knobs on the front, similar to an oven. This allows you to cook different types of foods at the same time. If you want to cook a whole meal on the grill, this can be possible.

Even small children can help when cooking on the grill by bringing utensils to the grill, holding plates, and ’setting’ the picnic table for your dining experience. If you intend to do a good deal of cooking on the grill you may want to invest in some portable and ‘kid friendly’ containers for things such as condiments, napkins, plastic ware, and tablecloth holders.Be sure to find containers for grilling that can handle a decent gust of wind without flying off too. These may be a little heavier for your little ones to hold but they won’t be nearly as difficult to chase when blowing across the lawn.

Keep On Grilling!!!

Weber Style 32902 Professional-Grade Vegetable Basket

October 21, 2008

Chop veggies or meats into the pan and place it on the grill! / Chop meats and use it as a wok! / Made of 430-grade stainless steel

Customer Review: Grill basket

I love using this grill basket for my veggies, esp. asparagus with just a drizzle of olive oil and pepper.

Customer Review: Perfect basket

I love this basket. It is very sturdy and easy to use on the grill. All I do is oil it with olive oil before using and grill what I want too, like shrimp, steaks (fish or beef) and vegetables. Clean it with a scrub brush and your ready for another use…..

Weber 7525 Porcelain Enameled Grates

October 20, 2008

Porcelainized for years of dependable service. Fits Genesis Silver B and C and Genesis 1000 to 3000 gas grills.

Customer Review: For Your Information

I actually ordered these grates to replace the borken ones in my Brinkman grill. I was thrilled to find that the dimensions were exactly what I needed. I surfed several places for genuine Brinkman parts and grew increasingly frustrated not being able to find what I had. These have been a great replacement and I have had no problems with them. The only minor complaint is that they leave quite a wide grill mark on my steaks but this is a small price to pay in not having to replace the grill!

Customer Review: Authentic replacement. Grill now looks new!

Product is an authentic part. When installed with the new warmer shelf, basket, and flavor bars the grill looks like new. Now, I really understand why all of the retailers say a Weber is worth every penny: It is extremely well made of highest quality steel. If you just keep the outside clean and replace the interior parts as needed, it lasts and lasts and lasts!!! This vendor was prompt and the items were well packed.

Weber 6401 Barbecue Mitt, Black

October 20, 2008

Weber, Barbecue Mitt, Black, Protect Your Forearm With A Fire Retardant, 17″ Cotton Mitt, Weber Logo

Customer Review: no more lost hairs

Very nice to not burn the hairs off my hand removing the grill lid, or trying to arrange coals, or flipping burgers. Also very stylish.

Highly recommended.
Customer Review: Good price, but…

I bought this BBQ mitt because it was reasonably priced and made by Weber. Being a Weber fanatic, I had high hopes. But after trying to use it for the first time last night, I’m pretty disappointed. The mitt is very thick and heavy, which is great for protecting your hand from the heat. But it’s so thick and heavy that gripping things with it is tough. Holding onto a wide-handled spatula was doable, although not super easy. But holding onto and trying to manipulate BBQ tongs was pretty much impossible. After much frustration, I finally took the mitt off and used the tongs barehanded. I’ll probably use this mitt on occasion, but it won’t be anywhere near the number of times I had expected to use it. Kind of disappointed with this one, Weber.

The most important thing to remember about cooking on the grill is that it should be an experience rather than a chore. Most of us truly enjoy the thought of having a good dinner under the sun or stars (whichever applies in your case). If you haven’t tried this in a while, it’s time to dust off the grill and refresh your memory and your taste buds.

Weber 6507 Rolling Cart

October 19, 2008

The Weber Q Rolling Cart is quick-folding, so it can be used as a grill stand and as a caddy to transport your Weber Q. For the ride mode, simply fold the cart down, place your Weber Q into position, use the included strap, and you’re ready to roll. To park it, just remove the grill and unfold.

Customer Review: Portable Q cart

This cart is great, stable enough to hold the weight of the grill but totally collapsible to take it on the road. The only downside is that the rack underneath is wire and isn’t really strong enough to hold the propane tank. This problem is resolved in the non-portable version of this cart, so basically it is a trade off. There is no problem setting the tank off to the side with the extender hose. Great purchase for the money.

Customer Review: Rolling cart

Perfect compliment to the Q120. Used on uneven grassy ground without misshap. Not as sturdy as I was hoping, but it did the trick. I’d recommend it for camping-type application.

There’s nothing on earth that can quite compare to the aroma of meat, fruit, and vegetables grilling over hot charcoal. If you don’t remember and your mouth isn’t watering just reading about, it’s been far too long since your last barbecue experience.

Weber 9891 Gas Barbecue Rotisserie

October 19, 2008

Forget about standing in line at the grocery store for a rotisserie chicken! Enjoy rotisserie cooking on your Weber gas grill with a heavy-duty electric motor for smooth turning. Works great with turkey, ribs & roasts too!

  • Basket Style
  • Electric Motor
  • Heavy-Duty Food Clamps Hold Food In Place – No Need To Pierce Food
  • Counter Balance Not Required
  • For Genesis Silver, Gold & Platinum Gas GrillsCustomer Review: Well designed weber rotisserie
This rotisserie is very easy to place items on and they seem always to be balanced and secure. No problems with items falling of if placed with tight wing nuts. Easy to clean also.
Customer Review: A new kind of rotisserie that really works

This is a great product. No skewering the meat with a three foot rod, just set the meat or large vegetables in the basket and tighten the novel clamps to secure the food. I can easily cook two large chickens in this 6″ (wide) basket but if you want to cook a turkey, Weber says the 8″ can accommodate up to a 12 lb turkey.

The motor is quiet and reliable. My only complaint, and it is really minor, is that another clamp or two would make it easier to cook more, smaller items.

What about cleaning? Does your grill have anything type of features that allow you to clean it easier? Some grills offer such things as a cleaning door, which allows you to easier remove the used fuels. This is handy if you decide on a charcoal and smoker grill. Some grills have a none stick surface, which allows you to cook without food sticking, and allows for very easy cleanup.

Cooking on the grill is a great way to keep the heat of cooking outside your home as well as to bring the family together for the entire cooking process. Moms read: this is a great way to get dad to help out with meal preparation. While this is said somewhat in jest, there is some truth to the fact that men are much more inclined to slave away over a hot grill than a hot stove. More importantly, most of the mess of cooking on the grill remains outside your kitchen. I don’t know about you, but that is a huge bonus for me, when it comes to cooking.

Customer Review: Handy cart for grill
This little gem rolls around patio/deck easily and is sturdy enough for the Baby Q and a large propane bottle. It also holds bbq tools on its pegs. I’m very glad I ordered the cart with the Baby Q.
    Customer Review: great lightweight cart

I’ve had this cart for a little over three years now, and it’s aged wonderfully. It’s a great cart for transporting the Q grills, which are intended to be mobile-friendly. As far as I can see it, there are only two downsides.
-placement of the grill on the cart can be slightly tricky, really only an issue in the dark.
-bottom rack is more for stability, light-weight items. It is obviously not meant to have a full, standard sized propane tank on it.
Other than that, it’s great. Excellent for small spaces and apartments. It is folds for storage and travel, but can stand up to the wet-cold-icy winters well. Get this with one of the covers and you can leave it out all year long in most cases. I’d recommend removing the gas line off season though, as my first was chewed through by raccoons!

Weber, Black, Vinyl Cover, Fits Weber Q100 & Q120 Gas Grills, Keeps Grill Clean & Out Of The Weather With A Fitted Heavy Duty Vinyl Cover, Elastic Side Bands & Front Draw Cord Keep It Secure

Customer Review: It’s a cover and it covers my Weber Q

It’s about what you would expect. A vinyl cover that is made to fit the Weber Q. Works fine, fits perfectly. I am starting to wish I purchased the one that covers for the bbq and stand.

    Customer Review: Works for us

We have our little grill on the picnic table with the fuel container on the ground underneath. Between uses we have been putting the cover over the grill, and so far it is doing a good job. We have only had it for about a month, so we don’t know how well it will hold up. It seems sturdy, however.
