Piece, Stainless Steel, Long Handled Barbeque Tool Set, Made Of Heavy Gauge Brushed Stainless Steel, Includes A Spatula, Tongs & A Meat Fork

Customer Review: Worth every penny

I bought this product at lease 5 years ago and it still works and looks brand new. I barbacue at lease once a week and find myself using the tongs more then anything else. It’s one of the first things I grab when heading to the pit. You can’t go wrong with this set.

Another feature some grills offer the ability to control different areas of your grill with different temperatures. This is typically controlled by knobs on the front, similar to an oven. This allows you to cook different types of foods at the same time. If you want to cook a whole meal on the grill, this can be possible.

Cooking on the grill is also a great way to get the kids involved in the meal preparation and clean up process. We like to use disposable plates when grill cooking and keep the dining al fresco. If you are hoping for instant family unity over the picnic table you might want to think again but there isn’t anything quite like it when it comes to not worrying about spills or dropped food as you can rest fairly certain that the animals will take care of anything that gets left behind.

Thanks!
The Grilling man

Customer Review: Weber Warming Rack

The Weber grill is an excellent product, unfortunately, some of the items need to be replaced from time to time. The warming rack we obtained from Amazon was as advertised, arrived in a timely manner, and was competitively priced.
Customer Review: Thinking of replacing the original warm-up rack? Read on…

I purchased a Weber Genesis 2000 BBQ Grill about 9 years ago. By and large it has proven to be a worthwhile backyard investment having produced literally hundreds of meals. However, while very sturdy, the warm-up rack and warm-up basket rusted rather early on. The rust does not come off using the wire brushes typically used to clear off the grill grates. Since we rarely place items like bread, buns and rolls in the the basket without wrapping them in foil first to provent them from burning quickly, the condition of the basket hasn’t mattered much. The problem is that this also happens to the warm-up rack upon which we placed burgers, hot dogs, steak, chops, chicken, ribs, etc. Putting foil on the rack is necessary.

I replaced the basket and rack this spring simply for appearances. However, again, after just a few weeks the shine is gone and corrosion is setting in. Since food it being placed on these items, it would be much better if these items were made from non-corrosive metal.

So, if you’re thinking of replacing the original warm-up rack and it’s still quite sturdy, think twice before replacing; money may be better spent elsewhere… or not.
Cooking surfaces on grills are important. How much space does it have? Will you be able to cook for just yourself, or you entire family? Depending on your situation, you may want to consider a larger or smaller grill.

The most important thing to remember about cooking on the grill is that it should be an experience rather than a chore. Most of us truly enjoy the thought of having a good dinner under the sun or stars (whichever applies in your case). If you haven’t tried this in a while, it’s time to dust off the grill and refresh your memory and your taste buds.

Thanks!
The Grilling man

I keep my grill on the covered patio. I love the grill, but threw out the cover because I never felt the need to put it on the grill…you’ve gotta wait until the grill is cool, then you lose interest in the cover.

Customer Review: Excellent!

I was blown away at the overall quality and heaviness of this cover. For the price, I was expecting something much thinner and lightweight. I couldn’t be happier with it for the low price.

Starting your grill changed drastically with each type of grill. Smokers and Charcoal burners require you to light the media, the wait for it to burn out and turn to embers before cooking. This can take anywhere from 20 to 45 minutes. Natural gas and propane gar grills can be started instantly, wither by lighting the burners with a lighter, or by a knob on the front, which is attached to a small hammer that slams into a crystal, causing enough spark to ignite the fuel.

In addition to cooking meats on the grill, it is important to keep in mind that you can also cook all kinds of fresh fruit and vegetables on the grill as well. You should also keep in mind the awesome side dishes that go great with grilled foods such as baked beans, potato salad, and nice cool deserts and pies.

Customer Review: Works Great

I’ve used this many times for the past two summers and it is great for grilling vegetables. Usually we put in some squash, zucchini, onions, asparagus, and mushrooms. Have not noticed any metallic taste and we do not keep it shiny clean. It has turned black and brown in places due to the food browning. We wash with soap and water and use it again kinda like we would a skillet.

Customer Review: Made my veggies taste like aluminum

I have only used it twice with the same results. Yes, I washed it thoroughly before using.

Perhaps one of the most important things you should consider is the fuel type. Charcoal grills are one of the most used types of grills. Charcoal grills utilize charcoal and lighter fluid to heat up and cook your food. Charcoal grills come in all shapes and sizes, and vary in cost. Charcoal requires you to buy charcoal and lighter fluid each time you cook with it. It must also be cleaned out each time. Charcoal grills come in small sizes, which are ideal for apartment dwellers or people with small homes. Once you have used your charcoal grill, you can clean it, and store it away. Propane grills are also useful for someone in small areas, since they can come in smaller sizes. Propane grills use propane gas to cook your food. If you want to quickly cook foods while still maintaining a grilled flavor, you may want to consider Propane grills. Natural gas grills are a little more complicated then smaller grills, so they require more room. Natural gas grills are meant to hook up directly to your home?s natural gas line, and can cook meat in record time. Smoker Grills are used when flavor is the number one priority. Smoker grills use wood to slow cook your meat. Flavor can be controlled by using different types of woods.

Keep On Grilling!!!

Customer Review: What’s there to say? They work

When I shopped for grills, one thing I noticed was poor grease catching design, even in the $5,000 grills (sorry, I don’t WANT to use kitty litter in my high-end grill). Weber got it right, I just wish the Weber dealers would know that these pans exist, Amazon is the only place where I could find them. BTW, it may not say so, but this pan fits all the current Summit grills, both 4 and 6 burner models.
Customer Review: Grill pans for Summit

These are not available to me locally (Wal-Mart and Lowes do not carry them), and Weber does not use standard sized bread pans (too bad, Weber, when you make such fantastic grills!) These are made of much heavier foil than a standard pan, too. The price is high for what they are. They do fit the new Summit 2008 grills.
Order Weber 6417 All-Purpose Summit Drip Pan, 10-Pack
Starting your grill changed drastically with each type of grill. Smokers and Charcoal burners require you to light the media, the wait for it to burn out and turn to embers before cooking. This can take anywhere from 20 to 45 minutes. Natural gas and propane gar grills can be started instantly, wither by lighting the burners with a lighter, or by a knob on the front, which is attached to a small hammer that slams into a crystal, causing enough spark to ignite the fuel.
One thing that can definitely be said about grill cooking is that the selections are almost as limitless as they are when cooking on the stove. You must use your imagination for maximum effect though very few meats and vegetables are truly off limits when it comes to cooking on the grill.

Customer Review: OK but a little too snug

Bought this for my new Weber Performer (post-2005). It fits very snuggly–almost too much so because it is somewhat harder to put it on. I wish it were a little looser. Reminds me of the old tight jeans I used to squeeze into back in the day–love my comfy loose-fitting jeans so much better. In any case, HQ, thick vinyl with nice weber logo for that show factor!
Customer Review: Heavy duty vinyl cover

It has been very helpful, my grill is fully protected, and it is easy to put and retire.
Cooking surfaces on grills are important. How much space does it have? Will you be able to cook for just yourself, or you entire family? Depending on your situation, you may want to consider a larger or smaller grill.

Cooking on the grill is a great way to keep the heat of cooking outside your home as well as to bring the family together for the entire cooking process. Moms read: this is a great way to get dad to help out with meal preparation. While this is said somewhat in jest, there is some truth to the fact that men are much more inclined to slave away over a hot grill than a hot stove. More importantly, most of the mess of cooking on the grill remains outside your kitchen. I don’t know about you, but that is a huge bonus for me, when it comes to cooking.

Customer Review: rejuvenate your flavor

Nothing like a new set of flavorizer bars! Food cooks more evenly, and that great Weber grill flavor. Every Easy quick ship from Amazon, and less expensive than ordering from factory.

Customer Review: Kudos to Weber

Several years ago I purchased the smallest gas grill that Weber offered. I was torn at the time between buying a small quality grill or a larger cheaper one. I have no regrets in choosing Weber. Although the grill I purchased (Genesis Silver A) is no longer available, Weber still makes parts for it. It took me less than one minute to change the rusted out flavour enhancing bars with the replacements. Bravo Weber!

Even small children can help when cooking on the grill by bringing utensils to the grill, holding plates, and ‘setting’ the picnic table for your dining experience. If you intend to do a good deal of cooking on the grill you may want to invest in some portable and ‘kid friendly’ containers for things such as condiments, napkins, plastic ware, and tablecloth holders.Be sure to find containers for grilling that can handle a decent gust of wind without flying off too. These may be a little heavier for your little ones to hold but they won’t be nearly as difficult to chase when blowing across the lawn.

Customer Review: Pleased with item, but not with store that sold it…

We ordered two of the Weber grill lights 62010. We received the 7516 instead. I didn’t check the item till 2 months later, and after we had installed one. It was too late to return them or exchange. We were charged the higher price for the other light, yet received the cheaper one. Very disappointed with the store (not Amazon). Will not shop with them again.
The light itself is great. It lights up our E-210 grill, and we need only light. Actually, one would fit on the bar of the grill. It’s great because it doesn’t get in the way, provides enough light, and we haven’t had to replace the batteries since 3-4 months…still going strong.
Just be sure to check the box it comes in to see which light you received.
Customer Review: Great little light

I use this light on my Weber S320 grill. It has a switch to automatically turn on when the lid is open and off when the lid is closed. It also has a day/night sensor to prevent it from wasting the battery while grilling in daylight.

It will light up the entire grill with a natural colored light. The light does not distort color. This is very nice for checking how well done the food is.

I highly recommend this to light.

Thanks!

Customer Review: Great addition to my grill

I love the rotisserie. I have used it a number of times already, and am very happy with the results. I can recommend it without reservation.

BTU is the measure of the amount of cooking power the barbeque grill has. Simple math will be needed in determining the amount of heat that your grill produces. Take the amount of space available for cooking (typically measured by square inch) and divide it by the total amount of BTU?s. Ideally you will want at least 95 to 100 BTU?s per square inch of cooking space. So for example, if you have a grill with 50,000 BTU?s and 450 square inches of cooking space, then you will be receiving about 111 BTU?s of cooking power per square inch. Anything less, and you may want to consider a different grill.

Keep On Grilling!!!
